Klist

Privacy Policy

Klist ("Klist" or "we") offers a service ("Service"), which allows its users to record tasks, appointments, and personal and/or professional activities, record text, notes, annotations, and subtasks, create lists, receive alerts, and engage in other task management-related activities, which can be accessed through the website www.klist.app ("Site") or the mobile application for Android and iOS devices ("App").

You, as a user of our Service ("You" or "User"), agree to Klist practices, as set forth in this privacy policy, when you choose to use the Service, whether via the website or the app.

Information we collect or receive

Information provided by you

We collect content and other information provided by you during your use of our Service, including information about yourself or others, such as information provided when creating an account, and content you create or submit via the App, including text, images, and attached files. We also collect information about how you use our Service, including interactions with our Service in connection with third-party services or website integrations. If future Klist products or features include purchases, we will collect information about your purchases or transactions, such as payment information including credit or debit card details, account and authentication info, or billing and shipping information.

Device information

We collect information from or about the devices you use to access our Service, such as operating system, device identifier, and settings, among other information you allow our Service to access on your device. This may also include location information, which can be derived from details such as your device's IP address.

How we use the information we have

We use all the information we have to help us provide and support our Service.

Provide, improve, and develop Services

We use the information we have to provide, enhance, develop, and understand our Service, and to deliver personalized experiences, content, and information to you, which may include online ads or other forms of marketing within our Service.

Communicate with you

We use the information we have, including your contact details, to communicate with you about our Service, send you marketing communications that may interest you, and otherwise notify you about our products, Services, policies, and terms. We also use the information we have to respond when you contact us.

Promote safety and security

Above all, we use the information we have to promote safety and security on our Service and to investigate the use of our Service, including any suspicious activity or potential violations of our terms and policies.

Cookies and other technologies

We use cookies and other technologies to operate, provide, support, and customize our Service, including delivering web-based Services, improving your experience, understanding how our Service is used, and securing our Service. We also use SDKs (Software Development Kits) to read, store, and access information on your mobile device to help provide our Service, as described above, when mobile applications use or are integrated with our Service. If your device or browser offers them, you may modify your cookie settings following the instructions provided by your device or mobile browser. Please note that if you configure your browser or device to delete, disable, or block cookies or other technologies, some parts of the Services may become inaccessible, and other parts may not function properly.

How information is shared

We may share information we have in the following circumstances, or in other circumstances with your permission.

Vendors, service providers, and other partners

We may share the information we collect with vendors, service providers, and others who collaborate to help us support and provide our Service globally. For example, we may use third-party analytics tools to help measure the use of our Service, or infrastructure vendors to help deliver and maintain the Services.

New ownership

If Klist (or any part of our assets) undergoes a change of ownership as a result of a merger, acquisition, or other transaction, the information we have, including information about you or submitted by you, may be transferred to another company.

We may also share aggregated or de-identified data with our partners or others. De-identified data means information from which we have removed details identifying an individual, such as name or contact information. Aggregated data is combined with other data so that a specific individual cannot be identified.

Access and deletion

We retain information for as long as necessary to provide Services to you and others, including as described above. If you have an account associated with our Service, the information associated with your account will be retained until it is deleted, unless we no longer need the data to provide products and Services.

You may delete your account at any time. Some information about you, or information you shared with others, is not part of your account and therefore will not be deleted with your account. It may take some time to delete your information, such as information stored in backup systems. Copies of some materials (e.g., log records) may remain in our database because we need or use them for technical or business-related reasons. When you delete your account, this material is disassociated from personal identifying information.

To request the cancellation of your account and the deletion of your data, follow one of these procedures: a) Submit a request via the contact form on our website https://klist.app/en/#contact or b) Send an email directly to contact@mail.klist.app and our team will process your request.

Responding to legal requests and preventing harm

We may access, retain, and share your information in response to a legal request (such as a search warrant, court order, or subpoena) if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so. This may include responding to legal requests from jurisdictions outside Brazil when we have a good faith belief that the response is required by law in that jurisdiction, affects users in that jurisdiction, and is consistent with internationally recognized standards. We may also access, retain, and share information when we have a good faith belief that it is necessary to: detect, prevent, and address fraud or other illegal activity; protect our Service, you, and others, including as part of investigations; or prevent death or imminent bodily injury. Information we receive about you, including financial transaction data related to purchases made through our Service, may be processed and retained for an extended period when subject to legal requests or legal obligations, government investigations, or investigations concerning possible violations of our terms or policies, or to prevent harm. We may also retain information from accounts disabled for violating our terms for at least one year to prevent further abuse or violations of our terms.

International data transfers

Our headquarters are in Brazil, and regardless of where you use our Service or otherwise provide information to us, information may be transferred to and maintained on servers located in Brazil or any other country. Note that laws, regulations, and standards of the country where information is stored may differ from those in effect in your own country. By using our Service, you consent to this collection, transfer, storage, and processing of information in Brazil and other countries.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will provide appropriate notice of such changes, for example through the Services or by communicating with you otherwise, and/or updating the "Effective Date" at the top of this policy.
